By accessing and using the website located at masonryfontana.com, or by engaging the services of FMA Fontana Masonry, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
FMA Fontana Masonry provides masonry contracting services including but not limited to foundation repair, chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick repair, driveway pavers, retaining wall construction, masonry restoration, fireplace installation, stone veneer installation, concrete block walls, walkway construction, brick wall installation, stone masonry, and brick pointing. Services are provided to residential and commercial properties in and around Fontana, CA and surrounding communities.
All estimates provided by FMA Fontana Masonry are free of charge and do not obligate you to proceed with any work. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise noted in writing.
Estimates are based on the information available at the time of the site visit. If unforeseen conditions are discovered during the course of work - such as hidden structural damage, deterioration beneath surfaces, or conditions not visible during the initial assessment - FMA Fontana Masonry will notify you and provide a written change order before proceeding with additional work.
Prices in written proposals are firm for the scope of work described. Work outside that scope will be quoted separately. Verbal estimates are not binding.
Once a project is scheduled, we ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in a rescheduling fee to cover crew and material preparation costs already incurred.
We make every effort to start and complete projects on the agreed timeline. Delays caused by weather, permit processing times, material availability, or conditions discovered during the project will be communicated to you as soon as possible.
Payment terms are outlined in each individual written proposal. In general, for residential projects, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due upon completion. Specific payment schedules for larger projects will be detailed in the project agreement.
Accepted payment methods include check, cash, and any electronic payment methods specified in your proposal. Payment is due within the timeframe stated in the proposal or project agreement.
Invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe may be subject to a late payment fee. FMA Fontana Masonry reserves the right to pause work on active projects where payment is significantly past due.
For projects requiring building permits under California law or local municipal codes, FMA Fontana Masonry will apply for and manage the permit process on your behalf. Permit fees are typically passed through to the client at cost and will be itemized in the project proposal. You agree to cooperate with any required inspections and to provide reasonable access to the property for city or county inspectors.
FMA Fontana Masonry stands behind the quality of our work. Written warranty terms, including duration and coverage, will be specified in your project agreement or provided upon project completion. Warranty coverage applies to defects in workmanship under normal use and conditions.
Warranty coverage does not extend to damage caused by acts of nature, seismic events, improper use, modifications made by others, or conditions unrelated to the work performed. Materials are covered by the manufacturer warranties, which vary by product.
FMA Fontana Masonry carries general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
FMA Fontana Masonry is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, loss of revenue, or property damage not directly caused by our work. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions discovered during the project unless specifically included in the written scope of work.

If a dispute arises in connection with our services or these Terms, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith communication. If informal resolution is not successful, the parties agree to submit the dispute to non-binding mediation before pursuing litigation.
Any legal action arising from these Terms or from services provided by FMA Fontana Masonry shall be filed in the state or federal courts located in San Bernardino County, California, and both parties consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
